I'm back with the second song, Jashn-e-Bahara from Jodha Akbar. I've been really busy these days due to some personal engagements. Jashn-e-Bahara is a beautiful composition from the prestigious Golden Globe award winner A.R. Rahman. After listening to this song, I really wanted to try this one, but one word of caution; the microphone has picked up some noise while recording the vocals. I've plans to get a good microphone soon [In the pipeline ;)] Here is my humble attempt to render this song. Please do post your valuable comments and feedbacks, I would love to hear your thoughts!

well am at it again....this time i think ur voice felt a bit strained, especially in the portion "Paas hain Bhir Bhi Paas Nahi" and the similar line in the 'Charanam'...may be those lines were a bit too tricky or a bit high pitched for your voice....
U have got great dynamics and huskiness in your voice....had a nice and tender romantic feel to it....that's the mood of the song as well...u succeeded in conveying that.
anyway keep delivering nice songs like this one for listeners like myself and take all the comments constructively.....

Bose: Greatly done - This song suits your sound well. The ending repetition of "chilman mein" was a surprise. I compared yours to the same song rendered by Jo and others to identify that the only problem you had was perhaps your mic! Look forward to your next one.

Nice singing again. This time your voice was audible out of the back ground music. It is always nice to hear the row voice (just like when people sings the irutham) with good feel. I have heard a lot of people singing, but they normally lack the feel in the song, but you sang this song with a lot of feel.
As they said above, a bit strained in the higher portion, but still it was a nice art piece by you man. Hats off .......

Great song and super rendition da. Professional!
But since suggestions are free of cost and I believe it can help improve things, I'll give you two. :)
1. I still feel the full power of your voice is not coming through. The singing feels a little held back. Is it the recording? Use the mixer to full effect and let your voice project out. Compare the original and you will know what I am talking about.
2. Also I felt some of the hindi pronunciation can still be improved. "Chchupa hai...", "Jhilman main...." etc...
Hey, the echo at the last....:) Nice. Why did you leave the panning effect? :)
So I hope you will take these points into consideration and improve in the next round. My SMS vote is for you. :D

Arun hats off for u r grat effort for bringing out such a beatiful song for us & mixing was good enough.frequency cheriya variation kandu and abt echo.is it deliberately done .
I felt that in this one bose voice has come out much better than previous.This song suited your voice very well and you have sung this song very casually with full feel and that sounded really grat.
"kaise kahain kya hain sitam" -its fantastic,really superrrrrrrrrrrrrr performance.
"saare sehemein nazzarein hai khoye mmmmmmm--- stanza is super.
second high pitch was better than first one.at end
" oh oh" rendered -exceptional gooodddddd Bose come down come downnn hahaahhahaa there are some minor problems too which i felt wll help u improve.
chuppa hain koi in second stanza energy level a bit low is it due to the problem with u mike?
"hum ne jo agar" stanza is supperrrrrrrrr
"phool se khushboo and chuppa hain.." ending is suppressed.
Over all very veryveryvrey wonderfull song bose,Arun good work keep goin .

@Sabarish How on earth can I forget u brother! You are right, my voice was strained as me and my buddy Arun recorded this song like about 8 times! The reason was the mic catching up noise as I already mentioned. But I don't want to put the whole blame on that. Like u said there were mistakes which u rightly pointed out. Will try to avoid such things in future. Thanx a lot once again for coming back and giving ur valuable suggestions.

@Manu Mathews Two very important points I would like to bring to your notice ( hey! even I didn't have to pay a penny for these :0 )
1) Yes my voice was a bit strained( which might have occurred due to the repeated takes we had to have because of the mic catching noise signals) and even the resources were not exactly very helpful. Will be getting better ones soon. The pronunciation will be taken more care of in future renditions. And the echo is thanx to my buddy Arun ji. It was just an experiment.

Nice work Bose. Loved your rendition and voice in this. At places, I felt that there was extra brigas (gamakams). Also at placed your voice sounded shrill. I know it can happen because I have tried singing this song too. :-) But you've got those high pitched portions sung well.
Apart from these, good effort. You've got a beautiful voice. Keep singing!

I am sure if you go there (forget about performance and stuffs man, that i am sure you are still good at it), you are good at classical and any type of song. @Thomas I love singing. I love dancing as well. But one puzzle that I'm still been not able to solve is why do they have to do both simultaneously! I really love that program but this is one big reason that has restrained me from venturing into that. Anyways thanx a lot for ur concern da :)

Hey Bose, hey I am no one to force you , but hey I (I know we all) want to see you in Idea star singer. I am even ready to open up a sms center in Kerala just for you (lol). Hey man, you may be right, that they are making people to do singing and dancing together, which I don't agree either. But if you look at the candidates, they are barely dancing, only the people around them are performing. So don't worry about it man. Hey we want your talents to be shown to the whole world man.
